Who we are

SpaceFromSpace (spacefromspace.com) is a personal project run by Harry Stranger, dedicated to archiving and sharing declassified satellite imagery and modern spaceport photography.

What data we collect

We collect minimal data to understand how the site is used:

Analytics cookies — if you accept cookies, we use anonymised analytics to understand which pages are visited and how visitors navigate the site. No personally identifiable information is stored.

Contact form — if you submit a message via the contact form on the About page, your name, email address, and message are sent to us via Formspree. See Formspree's privacy policy for how they handle this data.

Server logs — like all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records basic access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). These are retained for a short period for security purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party advertising cookies.

Third-party services

Some pages embed interactive maps from Soar. When you load these maps, Soar may set their own cookies. See Soar's privacy policy for details.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. As we collect very little data, there is unlikely to be much to share, but you are welcome to contact us with any requests.

You can withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

Cookies

We use a cookie consent banner on first visit. Your preference is stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie itself) and remembered for future visits. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
